"Birther Alert " - Here's the latest
Personally, I'm still not satisfied on this issue.
Couldn't the Registrar of Vital Statistics for the State of Hawaii have signed the verification instead of having someone else initial it?
And, once again, we have the promise of something dramatic on the way...
Couldn't the Registrar of Vital Statistics for the State of Hawaii have signed the verification instead of having someone else initial it?
And, once again, we have the promise of something dramatic on the way...
Linda Bentley posted this yesterday at SonoraNews.com:
"When Zullo visited the Hawaii Department of Health, he was barred from seeing Obama’s original birth records.
However, during his interview with Gillar, the only interview he gave from Hawaii, Zullo said, while he couldn’t disclose what they uncovered, he promised it would be a 'shocking revelation' at their next press conference, which will be held in mid-June.
Zullo did say he has reservations about the verification letter sent to Bennett, citing the letter was stamped with Onaka’s name but was initialed by someone other than Onaka."
Bin Laden died of natural causes - Former CIA agent
I admit to being an avowed skeptic.
Unfortunately, that doesn't always lead to a satisfactory final conclusion...
Unfortunately, that doesn't always lead to a satisfactory final conclusion...
This gem was posted at GlobalResearch.ca:
"According to the former CIA agent, he personally knew Bin Laden’s three Chechen bodyguards, who had protected him until his death and witnessed his death on June 26, 2006. 'Even if the entire world believed, I could not possibly believe it,” Yashar said. “I personally know the Chechens who protected him, they are Sami, Mahmood, and Ayub, and they were with him until the very end.' 'Only three Chechens buried him, according to his will' in the mountains on the Pakistan-Afghan border, he said."
Health News - "Those with the most positive outlook live longest..."
This was posted recently in the U.K. Daily Mail's health reporting section:
"For all those pessimists among you, there’s some even worse news. Optimists appear to live longer. According to research, those who make 100-plus tend to have a sunny disposition. Scientists who studied 243 centenarians found that, far from being world-weary, most were cheerful and sociable. "

"Arpaio posse aims to throw final blow"
Sheriff Arpaio clearly emphasizes the tenacity of a sheriff from a southwestern state.
It would probably be very foolish to underestimate him...
It would probably be very foolish to underestimate him...
Jeffrey Phelps is reporting this at Examiner.com. He begins:
"Members of the Sheriff Arpiao cold-case investigation posse have concluded a week long Obama birth certificate search in Hawaii, only to find even more damning evidence supporting the President's ultimate ineligibility.
Despite recent threats of federal lawsuits and attempts earlier in the week, by the Obama administration and the establishment's puppet media, to stymie the ongoing investigation with a waterfall of Arpaio hit pieces rolling off the wire, the team is preparing to fully debrief the Sheriff on their most recent Hawaiian findings within the next few days.
A visit by one team member, investigative journalist, Jerome Corsi, to the Alex Jones show Thursday, made some very startling realizations that continue to paint a very dark picture for the possible future of the President and his bid for reelection, once the official press conference takes place in mid-July."
"Hawaii Senior Elections Clerk: 'Barack Obama was not born in Hawaii.'"
Here's another article that "cannot" just be dismissed out of hand.
Of course, the liberal media will be doing just that.
I continue to wonder how many Americans come even close to having the sheer number of their past personal documents seem so questionable?...
Of course, the liberal media will be doing just that.
I continue to wonder how many Americans come even close to having the sheer number of their past personal documents seem so questionable?...
George Spelvin brings this story to our attention at CoachIsRight.com:
"Adams was the Chief Elections Clerk (Pg. 30) for the City and County of Honolulu, Hawaii. 'On a temporary contract, I ran an office that verified voter eligibility that had a staff of about fifty people,' he also told radio interview host James Edwards of the Liberty News Radio Network. 'Barack Obama was not born in Hawaii,' the former elections clerk continued. 'It (Pg. 31) was openly admitted by everyone in the office who was above me, at least my immediate supervisors, that there is no documentation.” Adams details the governmental databases and other means of authentication used included “NCIS, Social Security, all these other things we use on average voters; there were two people higher than me in our office, who are under the City Clerk of Honolulu. . .' (Pg. 30)
Now Adams emphatically states in his Masters Thesis: '. . .in my professional opinion, Barack Obama was NOT (emphasis added) born in the United States, and there is no Hawaii long-form birth certificate.' (Pg. 30, 31)"
"April New Home Sales: The Hype vs. The Reality"
Take a gander at this article and see how disingenuous the media reporting has been...
At Townhall.com, Mike Shedlock makes (what I think) is a true comparison:
"After all that hype, let's take a look at the reality. To eliminate seasonal fluctuations, the best comparison is the current month vs. the same month in previous years.
Here is a chart from reader Tim Wallace that shows what I mean."

"Leaked Emails Show ‘Grossly Overestimated’ Environmental Report to Back Up Mining Ban"
Is it any wonder why people say the government is broken?
Or is it corrupt? Or incompetent?
America has resources like coal, gas, oil, now uranium, and who knows what else that bureaucrats are denying access, too. It's really sad...
Or is it corrupt? Or incompetent?
America has resources like coal, gas, oil, now uranium, and who knows what else that bureaucrats are denying access, too. It's really sad...
Bridget Johnson brings this story to us at PJmedia.com:
"The emails between National Park Service (NPS) officials include statements such as “my personal and professional opinion is that the potential impacts stated in the DEIS as [sic] grossly overestimated and even then they are minor to negligible” and 'there exists no information we could find that would [suggest] how contamination of park waters might physically occur.
DEIS stands for Draft Environmental Impact Statement, being discussed in the emails by hydrologists. 'The DEIS goes to great lengths in an attempt to establish impacts to water resources from uranium mining. It fails to do so, but instead creates enough confusion and obfuscation of hydrogeologic principles to create the illusion that there could be adverse impacts if uranium mining occurred,' states another email.
The Interior Department announced the 20-year ban on Jan. 9, negating a compromise that had been previously worked out between mining companies and environmental groups. The administration cited the protection of drinking water sources as the reason."
When government is the looter - The Washington Post
Apparently, there just isn't any. It is what it is. Just awful...
George F. Will has the story on the Washington Post website:
"This town’s police department is conniving with the federal government to circumvent Massachusetts law — which is less permissive than federal law — to seize his livelihood and retirement assets.
In the lawsuit titled United States of America v. 434 Main Street, Tewksbury, Massachusetts, the government is suing an inanimate object, the motel Caswell’s father built in 1955. The U.S. Department of Justice intends to seize it, sell it for perhaps $1.5 million and give up to 80 percent of that to the Tewksbury Police Department, whose budget is just $5.5 million.
The Caswells have not been charged with, let alone convicted of, a crime. They are being persecuted by two governments eager to profit from what is antiseptically called the 'equitable sharing' of the fruits of civil forfeiture, a process of government enrichment that often is indistinguishable from robbery."
"Al-Qaeda Infiltrator was Working for Brits not CIA, Cover Blown for Election Year Politics"
Anything goes when you're trying to get elected...
Patrick Poole writes about this recent event one at PJmedia.com:
"As the story broke, the establishment media was more than happy to attribute the intelligence coup to the CIA and the Obama administration, describing the mole as a 'CIA informant.'
It turns out that wasn’t true. The double-agent hadn’t been recruited and placed by the CIA, but by British intelligence, who also managed the operation. In fact, the Americans had only recently been made aware of the joint British-Saudi effort.
The leaks about the operation from the American side have infuriated British intelligence officials, who had hoped to continue the operation. The leaks not only scuttled the mission but put the life of the asset in jeopardy. Even CIA officials, joining their MI5 and MI6 counterparts, were describing the leaks as 'despicable,' attributing them to the Obama administration."
In Our Schools - "A Test Question Has NJ Parents Outraged"
This just should never have even been...
David Matthau reported at NJ1015.com:
"Dr. Richard Goldberg – a Marlboro father of twin boys in the 3rd grade – says the youngsters were asked 'The Secret' question, and 'I was kind of shocked because it was just a very – it was an outrageous question…to ask an 8-year-old, a 9-year-old to start revealing secrets in the middle of an exam – I thought was really inappropriate… these children – they want to answer the question, they want to ask it correctly, they don’t want to get a bad grade- but at the same time…think about the things a child might know – about themselves or their family.'"

The Media - "... Works To Suppress Obama 'Born in Kenya' Bio"
That's because the liberal media doesn't want you to...
Ben Shapiro can fill you in at Breitbart.com:
"While the internet buzzed with Breitbart News’ release of a booklet from President Obama’s literary agency circa 1991 describing him as being 'born in Kenya,' the mainstream media still refuses to report the story, or plays defense for Obama. Never mind that the agency used the 'born in Kenya' biography until 2007. Never mind that authors who have worked with the agency state that the agency asks that authors pen their own biographies. Never mind that Obama has routinely padded his biographical details to appeal to particular audiences."
"Obama by the numbers"
Roger Kimball posted a few at PJmedia.com:
"A friend sent me the following graphs. I’d seen, indeed posted here, some of them already; some were new to me. Taken together they tell a sorry story of failure."

Health News - "No good for your heart..."
A long held belief in the medical world is now in dispute.
Now, let me ask; do you think there's any coincidence that there are drugs sold for this?...
This is posted by Dinesh C. Sharma and Claire Bates on the U.K. Daily Mail website:
"In a challenge to conventional wisdom, a team from Harvard Medical school found no direct link between raising good cholesterol levels - or HDL - with a lower risk of a heart attack."
"Former finance official 'stole $53 million from city funds in Illinois"
On the other hand, with so many governments in financial trouble, you would think someone would have noticed this...
This recent U.K. Telegraph story is hard to believe:
"Rita Crundwell, 59, who had served as comptroller of Dixon, Illinois since 1983, used the money to buy three homes, more than a dozen cars, trucks and other vehicles, and to invest in a horse farm that has 311 quarter horses, the US Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Illinois in Chicago said. Crundwell was arrested in mid-April and charged with stealing $30 million from the city between 2006 and 2012. Prosecutors said she funnelled the money into a secret account she controlled. On Tuesday, prosecutors said further investigation found that the alleged fraud began in 1990 and involved more than $53 million in funds from the city of about 15,000 people, located about 100 miles southwest of Chicago."

"The Illusion of Obama's Bin Laden Raid Situation Room Leadership"
See what you think about this one...
Mara Zebest digs into this at AmericanThinker.com:
"Apparently, my previous article on the famous 'Situation Room' photo tapped a nationwide nerve. The response ranged from some eye-opening tips on other photos to a few perplexed criticisms as to the motivation for Photoshopping a Situation Room photo.
The answer to that latter question can be summed up in one simple thought: To hide the truth. Obama was out golfing while the OBL mission was unfolding, and the administration needed the Situation Room photo op for public perception -- to give the illusion that he's presidential."
Meanwhile - in Connecticut - 55 convictions!
Can you believe this?...
Denise Buffa and ayana Harry recently reported at Courant.com:
"The man accused of kidnapping a 26-year-old Wallingford woman in New Haven on Saturday has 55 convictions, including 15 for felonies, court officials said Monday. Albert Leclaire, 43, of Massachusetts Avenue in East Haven, is wanted for a similar incident that took place earlier in the week and involved a Yale student, officials said. He was held with bail set at $1 million."

Barack Hussein Obama — international man of mystery
Posted by Bookworm at BookWormRoom.com:
"...a little more food for thought about our President’s mysterious origins."
"The Media Mess of Pottage?"
Evidently, they have collectively decided to stay their course, regardless of it's foreseeable self-destructive outcome...
At AmericanThinker.com, Steve McCann offers a strong indictment of the liberal media. He also elaborates as to how their bias seems to be destroying their financial and employment stability:
"The two pre-eminent pillars of the mainstream media, The Washington Post and The New York Times, have put all Republicans on notice that the media will hunt down rumors of anything untoward, even as far back as from when these Republicans were in high school, and feature it on their front page regardless of its veracity. Further, any conservative thinking of speaking out against Barack Obama, even if he plans to spend his own money, will be publicly labeled as a racist and a bigot, and his business will be the target of left-wing pressure groups."
"Obama Drops His Name Into the Other Presidential Biographies"
It's likely that we all are somewhat amateur psychologists.
And it's also likely we might see an ego problem here...
And it's also likely we might see an ego problem here...
Seth Mandel writes about it at CommentaryMagazine.com:
"The Heritage Foundation’s Rory Cooper tweeted that Obama had casually dropped his own name into Ronald Reagan’s official biography on www.whitehouse.gov, claiming credit for taking up the mantle of Reagan’s tax reform advocacy with his 'Buffett Rule' gimmick. My first thought was, he must be joking. But he wasn’t—it turns out Obama has added bullet points bragging about his own accomplishments to the biographical sketches of every single U.S. president since Calvin Coolidge (except, for some reason, Gerald Ford). Here are a few examples:"

In Our World - Troubles in the adoption process
Things can sure get tangled up these days...
Kate Gallagher has the story in the U.K. Daily Mail:
"Scandal of the babies parents won't adopt because they're called Chrystal and Chardonnay . . . and the social workers who won't let them change their names A whistleblower reveals a shocking new twist to Britain's adoption shambles - and why social workers, obsessed with the rights of dysfunctional birth families, refuse to do anything about it."
Jerry Brown vs. Chris Christie - WSJ.com
William McGurn points out a comparison in the Wall Street Journal:
"In his January 2011 inaugural address, California Gov. Jerry Brown declared it a "time to honestly assess our financial condition and make the tough choices." Plainly the choices weren't tough enough: Mr. Brown has just announced that he faces a state budget deficit of $16 billion—nearly twice the $9.2 billion he predicted in January. In Sacramento Monday, he coupled a new round of spending cuts with a call for some hefty new tax hikes. In his own inaugural address back in January 2010, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie also spoke of making tough choices for the people of his state. For his first full budget, Mr. Christie faced a deficit of $10.7 billion—one-third of projected revenues. Not only did Mr. Christie close that deficit without raising taxes, he is now plumping for a 10% across-the-board tax cut."

Clearly, it is now too powerful and out of control...
At WashingtonTimes.com, Steve Milloy wonders about this and then fills us in:
"Which do you find more shocking: that the Environmental Protection Agency conducts experiments on humans that its own risk assessments would deem potentially lethal, or that it hides the results of those experiments from Congress and the public because they debunk those very same risk assessments? JunkScience.com recently obtained through the Freedom of Information Act the results of tests conducted on 41 people who were exposed by EPA researchers to high levels of airborne fine particulate matter - soot and dust known as PM2.5."

Meanwhile - in the U.K. - Water troubles
They are restricted in it's use, but the water companies don't have to fix leaks.
Say what?...
Katherine Faulkner and Mario Ledwith have the story in the U.K. Daily Mail, and it's not pretty:
"Water companies have been told they will not have to step up efforts on leaks for the next three years, despite the country suffering its worst drought for a quarter of a century. More than 20million people in Britain have been hit by a hosepipe ban following the severe drought in the South and East. But almost a quarter of the entire country’s water supply – around 3.4 billion litres – is still disappearing from the system every day because companies have failed to stop leaks."

"Welfare Recipients Get Hundreds For Car Repairs, Clothing Allowance"
Tom Gantert has the story at MichiganCapitalConfidential.com:
"Michigan’s welfare recipients may get up to $900 from the state in car repairs every year, but the House of Representatives is trying to cut that to $500. The car repair subsidies are part of a $6.4 million program the Department of Human Services has to help welfare recipients get a job and stay employed. Among many approved expenses, the program also includes up to $1,200 for welfare recipients to buy a car, and up to $500 for clothing allowance for job interviews and work."

The Big Hoax - Thomas Sowell
Now, I've had time to digest it, and can recommend it to you...
Thomas Sowell never lets us down and this post at Townhall is no exception:
"There have been many frauds of historic proportions -- for example, the financial pyramid scheme for which Charles Ponzi was sent to prison in the 1920s, and for which Franklin D. Roosevelt was praised in the 1930s, when he called it Social Security. In our own times, Bernie Madoff's hoax has made headlines. But the biggest hoax of the past two generations is still going strong -- namely, the hoax that statistical differences in outcomes for different groups are due to the way other people treat those groups."

But, hey this is a conservative state, based on Christian values...! HB 1330, so... Guess what..........Oklahoma did it anyway."

Politicians - New French President Francois Hollande
So, did the media report this BEFORE the election?
I'd say no, they did not...
I'd say no, they did not...
In the U.K. Daily Mail, Peter Allen reports on this:
"France's new Socialist president owns three holiday homes in the glamorous Riviera resort of Cannes, it emerged today. The 57-year-old who 'dislikes the rich' and wants to revolutionise his country with high taxes and an onslaught against bankers is in fact hugely wealthy himself."
Government at Work - "Tax loophole costs billions"

Bob Segall reports on it at Indiana's WTHR.com. The link to part two is also there:

And you are paying for it! Note: This is part one in a two-part series."
"England: It was Fun While It Lasted"
It's not hard to imagine that America is headed for something similar...
At PJmedia.com, Kyle Smith writes about the U.K. issue:
"England and the rest of the UK are increasingly becoming mirrors of the capital. London is splitting into a land of surly immigrants and the governing-media-celebrity class of the well-shod who insulate themselves from everyone else and thus don’t care what is going on. The working and middle class have been left to their own devices as they contend with absurd levels of taxation, decaying schools, horrific crime, and cultural devaluation. Try as Britain might to make 2012 about the queen and Lord Sebastian Coe (its chief Olympics cheerleader and gold medalist runner), its more relevant faces are Liam Stacey and Rhea Page.

NavelToday.com recently reported this:

The Taxpayer Information Act is about truth in advertising and transparency. Henninger: Memo to the Youth Vote - WSJ.com
Unfortunately, that inattention and their voting choices will dictate what the future holds for them...
The Wall Street Journal's Daniel Henninger included comments by Nobel laureate economist Robert Lucas in his article about it:
"He then looked at the levels of U.S. social-welfare commitments, including the new Obama health-care entitlement, and ended with a simple observation: 'Is it possible that by imitating European policies on labor markets, welfare and taxes, the U.S. has chosen a new, lower GDP trend? If so, it may be that the weak recovery we have had so far is all the recovery we will get.' That stark assertion—this may be all the growth we're going to get—is something the youth vote should think about. And there's a good place to do that: Backpacking through Europe. But this time try to get a look behind the fabulous theme-park façades in Italy, France, Spain, the U.K., Portugal and Greece. In Spain the youth unemployment rate is 50%; in Italy it's 36%."

"Crucify Political Correctness on the Altar of Freedom of Speech"
Some things just are what they are, and political correctness prevents us from honestly discussing them...
Kelly O'Connell wrote it some time ago and posted it at CanadaFreePress.com. I think it's worthwhile reading:
"...Political Correctness is a Trojan horse for Marxism, which always destroys everything it touches. PC is a curse which must be denounced before it mangles its host society, especially since it is the very opposite of Free Speech. More importantly, individual responsibility is eliminated by PC standards which make irrelevant personal morality. This is the subject of this essay."

It's really hard NOT to believe something bad is going on here.
Of course, you may form your own opinion...
Of course, you may form your own opinion...
Alan Jones tells all about it at WashingtonTimes.com:
"Changes in the wording of Selective Service System record-keeping requirements, made days after the opening of an investigation into the alleged forgery of President Barack Obama’s selective service registration form, raise serious questions about U.S. Government intentions. The new rules allow existing copies of documents that may be sought by investigators to be destroyed.
The Selective Service System’s new privacy rules were published in the Federal Register on Tuesday, September 20, 2011, four days after the September 16 announcement by World Net Daily that the Maricopa County (Arizona) Sheriff’s Office “Cold Case Posse” was opening an inquiry with full subpoena power into alleged forgery of several documents concerning Obama’s birth and draft registration."
Australia vs. the United States - on Social Security
Hello Washington, D.C. Is anybody listening?...
Daniel J. Mitchell has the story at Townhall.com:
"There are two serious problems with America’s Social Security system. Almost everyone knows about the first problem, which is that the system is bankrupt, with huge unfunded liabilities of about $30 trillion. The other crisis is that the system gives workers a lousy level of retirement income compared to the amount of taxes they pay during their working years. Younger workers are particularly disadvantaged, as are African-Americans because of lower life expectancy. These are critical issues, but perhaps looking at a couple of charts is the best way to illustrate why the Social Security system is inadequate. Let’s start by looking at some numbers from Australia, where workers set aside 9 percent of their income in personal retirement accounts."

Even so, polls, surveys, and trends are cause to speculate...
At AmericanThinker.com, conservative Bruce Walker explains why he thinks this:
"The 'perfect storm' for conservatives would be a federal government, supported by a Supreme Court, which respects the Constitution and devolves most policy issues back to the states, with robust conservatives in state government enacting an agenda which shows the leftist parts of America the benefits of lower taxes and regulations, tort reform, wholesome social values, and true reform of public and college education. Could this happen? If the generic congressional ballot trend continues, it almost certainly will happen."

Meanwhile - in Chicago
Chicago has many of the toughest gun ownership laws in the country.
Of course that means only criminals have guns...
Of course that means only criminals have guns...
Peter Nickeas reports some overnight activity at ChicagoTribune.com:
"Ten people were shot between Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning on the city's South and West Sides, including a man who died this morning after being shot on the Lower West Side and a 12-year-old girl who survived a gunshot wound on the West Side Saturday night."
Meanwhile - in San Diego, CA - Proposition B
This will be interesting to watch...
Chris Reed has the story at City-Journal.org:
"A key battleground is San Diego. In June, voters will decide on Proposition B, the Comprehensive Pension Reform Initiative. It would end defined-benefit pensions for all new city hires except for police officers, instead providing pensions similar to 401(k)s. It would prevent pay sweeteners from being added to base salary when calculating pensions, and it would require city workers to pay a bigger share of their pension costs. Finally, Prop. B would mandate a five-year salary freeze."
Politicians - Saying anything for votes
During all the fuss about Mr. Obama and dogs, I came across this apparently broken promise...
Brigget Johnson has the story at PJmedia.com:
"President Obama promised author Jana Kohl, who had been lobbying on Capitol Hill to end puppy mills, that he would adopt a dog. He even posed with her three-legged poodle rescued from an abusive breeder in a photo that was carried on the cover of American Dog magazine.
In October 2008, Michelle Obama told Entertainment Tonight that her family would be adopting a shelter dog after the election. The news was welcomed by groups that had been trying to persuade the Obamas to opt for a rescue dog after he’d mentioned they might get a goldendoodle because they’re hypoallergenic."

Government at Work - Licensing Barbers in Michigan
I believe that in most cases, licensing has everything to do with getting revenue, and much less to do with public health or safety.
Granted, there are exceptions...
Granted, there are exceptions...
Tom Gantert recently posted this at MichiganCapitolConfidential.com:
"Lee McGrath says a lawyer must spend 1,200 hours in the classroom to be eligible to become an attorney in Michigan. Yet, to be a barber in Michigan, someone must spend 2,000 hours in training.McGrath, the legislative counsel at The Institute for Justice, used that example to highlight how licensing laws in the state are job killers and increase costs to consumers."
"The REAL X-Ray spex"
Technology keeps coming, and it's coming quickly...
Rob Waugh recently reported on them on the U.K. Daily Mail website:
"Comic-book superpowers could become reality as scientists have designed a phone that works as 'X-Ray spex'.A hi-tech chip allows a phone to 'see through' walls, wood and plastics - and (although the researchers are coy about this) through fabrics such as clothing. Doctors could also use the imagers to look inside the body for cancer tumours without damaging X-Rays or large, expensive MRI scanners."

Joel Kotkin: The Great California Exodus - WSJ.com
Here is a quite informative article about all that is wrong with California.
It does not seem to be partisan; rather, it just highlights how on every level, California's policies are sinking a once great state...
It does not seem to be partisan; rather, it just highlights how on every level, California's policies are sinking a once great state...
In the Wall Street Journal, Joel Kotkin writes about California:
"As progressive policies drive out moderate and conservative members of the middle class, California's politics become even more left-wing. It's a classic case of natural selection, and increasingly the only ones fit to survive in California are the very rich and those who rely on government spending. In a nutshell, 'the state is run for the very rich, the very poor, and the public employees.'"

"Headlines Control the Narrative. Guess Who Controls the Headlines?"
I've seen this methodology at work for quite some time now.
If you're a "headline only" reader, you probably don't really know what's going on...
If you're a "headline only" reader, you probably don't really know what's going on...
Tom Blumer recently wrote about it at PJmedia.com:
"There’s a new and largely overlooked problem in this election cycle: Story headlines have become more powerful than ever. That’s because far more people than in 2008 are getting their 'news' from headline feeds sent to computers, smart phones (46% of all wireless phones), and tablets (34 million users). Even avid news consumers with busy lives won’t go to what’s behind most of the headlines they see on these devices — and when they do, especially given the limited real estate on their screens, they will rarely read past the opening paragraph or two. This is a serious concern because the aforementioned propagandists, with special assistance from certain leftist outlets, have a virtual lock on these feeds. As I see it, their privileged access has given them extraordinary power this time around to influence the political and cultural narrative — and they have learned how to abuse it."
"Impeach Them All"
I've held this view (and this article) for some time now.
The "political class", regardless of party affiliation, is clearly interested only in self-preservation.
I suspect their contentious differences are mostly an act, and the lap dog media is happy to sell it all to us...
The "political class", regardless of party affiliation, is clearly interested only in self-preservation.
I suspect their contentious differences are mostly an act, and the lap dog media is happy to sell it all to us...
At AmericanThinker.com, Monty Pelerin explains his reasoning clearly and then concludes:
"Congress is clearly in violation of their oath of office to defend and uphold the Constitution. Impeachment proceedings should be brought against this president. They will not be and our country will be lost. The selfishness and greed of the political class is best served in such a fashion.Unless meaning is put back into the Constitution, it will not matter who wins or loses the next election. Elections no longer matter! We think we are voting for change and can achieve such by changing horses. That is exactly what they want you to believe. If you were to recognize that you no longer have any control over what is happening, then the myth of government has been exploded.I have no solution to this problem other than to Impeach Them All. That is the correct solution, but not a practical one. Thus we are left waiting for the collapse. Perhaps in rebuilding from the ashes a Constitutional Republic that worked and we wasted, can be re-instituted. But a collapse of the economy, the government and much of society is very dangerous and opens the door for a demagogue to assume power. That was the recipe used by Hitler."

"Film: President’s father not Barack Obama"
Here's my (seems like) weekiy Barack Obama legitimacy story...
Jerome R. Corsi has it at WND.com:
"With the release this July of Joel Gilbert’s full-length documentary, 'Dreams from My Real Father: A Story of Reds and Deception,' the mystery deepens regarding who Obama really is. 'The film provides the first cohesive understanding of Obama’s deep-rooted life journey in socialism, from his childhood to his presidency,' Gilbert told WND. Gilbert rejects the official story that the Kenyan-born Barack Obama was the president’s father."
Government at Work - on the Housing Market
So, how's that government thing working out?
Apparently, and as usual, not so well...
Apparently, and as usual, not so well...
This story at Reuters.com tells us just that:
"These loans, insured by the FHA, require a down payment of as little as 3.5 percent of the purchase price, providing only a small cushion of protection against a drop in home prices that could drive a borrower into negative equity.'This is creating a new wave of underwater borrowers,' said Gary Shilling, a veteran financial analyst and well-known housing market bear. 'We have all three branches of government trying to keep people in four bedroom houses who can't afford chicken coops.'"
"WikiLeaks: McCain knew Obama team stuffed ballot boxes, bribed Jesse Jackson and took Russian money in 2008"
Even though this email exists, our national media remains quiet.
That should scare us all!...
That should scare us all!...
This is just part of the post by Coach Collins on his website:
"An Email dated November 7, 2008 under the subject line 'Insight – The Dems & Dirty Tricks ** Internal Use Only – Pls Do Not Forward **,' was sent by Fred Burton, Stratfor’s V.P. of Intelligence. It said in part, The black Dems were caught stuffing the ballot boxes in Philly and Ohio as reported the night of the election and Sen. McCain chose not to fight. The matter is not dead inside the party. It now becomes a matter of sequence now as to how and when to 'out'. "
Meanwhile - Along the U.S.-Mexico border
That's 900 LESS National Guard troops patrolling our Southern border.
UGH!...
UGH!...
Brian Bennett recently reported in the L.A. Times:
"WASHINGTON -- The Pentagon began flying military helicopters and surveillance planes over the U.S. border with Mexico last month as part of an effort to withdraw all but 300 of the National Guard ground troops who have helped patrol the rugged border since mid-2010.The 19-month deployment of 1,200 National Guard troops on the southwest border has hurt recruiting efforts and threatened to strain diplomatic relations with Mexico, Brian J. Lepore, a director at the U.S. Government and Accountability Office, told a House homeland security subcommittee hearing Tuesday."

"Obama's Bailout Success Story GM Still Delinquent..."
The Democrat Party says "A".
The Special Inspector GeneraL says "B".
I know who I believe...
The Special Inspector GeneraL says "B".
I know who I believe...
Investors.com has the real story:
"The president's new campaign video narrated by actor Tom Hanks claims GM has "repaid" its loans. But in a revelation by the special inspector general monitoring the TARP bailout program, GM and GMAC together still owe the biggest share of the remaining $119 billion TARP debt.Of the top bailout recipients, GM is the biggest laggard, the TARP watchdog says in his latest quarterly report to Congress. Bank of America, Citigroup, Chrysler and Chrysler Financial all have paid off their debt and left the TARP program. Even AIG has paid back more than 75% of what it owes taxpayers."
Michelle Van Cleave: Russian Spies Haven't Gone Away - WSJ.com
Most Americans have more things to worry about than spies.
Our recent governments seem to be in the same category.
Question is: Will it hurt us?...
Our recent governments seem to be in the same category.
Question is: Will it hurt us?...
Michelle Van Cleave follows up on this in the Wall Street Journal:
"'He acts like he thinks the Cold War's still on,' Vice President Joe Biden said when Mitt Romney recently called Russia America's No. 1 geopolitical foe. 'I don't know where he's been.' Actually, he's been right here—paying attention.
The vice president may be surprised to learn that there are as many Russian intelligence officers operating in the U.S. today as during the height of the Cold War—it is arrests and criminal proceedings that have fallen off.
We had nine full-blown Russian espionage cases in the 1980s, seven in the '90s, one in 2001 and then . . . nothing. It's been 11 years since the last Russian spy was arrested inside the U.S. government. But if you think that's good news, think again."
Meanwhile - in City of Roswell, GA
I frequently come across postings and scenarios that kind of deny belief.
This one seems worth posting...
This one seems worth posting...
Ethan A. Huff posted at NaturalNews.com:
"An innocent man who had legally been raising a few dozen chickens and other small birds in the backyard of his suburban Atlanta home is now dead, following a crusade of terror perpetrated against him by the City of Roswell in Georgia. Andrew Wordes, who died during a recent raid on his property in which county marshals tried to illegally evict him, was the obvious victim of a rogue state gone mad -- and his blood is now on the hands of the Roswell City Administrator, the Roswell City Council, and the Roswell Police Department, all of which robbed from Wordes his property, his livelihood, and ultimately his life."
