Today, I captured this from the MSNBC website.
It's not scientific but it is surprising to find this there of all places...

Now, you can clearly see the dynamics of online surveys.
It doesn't take very long for the word to get around.
If the survey is left open long enough, whatever group wants a certain result bombards the survey with votes.
In this case you can easily see what has happened.
Rule of thumb: Online surveys are for amusement only...
