Yes, Hillary Clinton broke the law | New York Post

Looks quite clear to me...
In the New York Post, Ken Cuccinelli gives reasons why:
"Since there has been much evasion and obfuscation about Hillary Rodham Clinton’s email use, it seems appropriate to step back and simply review what we know in light of the law. It’s also instructive to compare Clinton’s situation to arguably the most famous case of our time related to the improper handling of classified materials, namely, the case of Gen. David Petraeus."

"SHOCKER: Trust in Media is at an ALL TIME LOW"

This should not be a surprise.
The 24 hour news cycle has proliferated news coverage.
As a result, there is much more biased reporting and shallow investigating...
Aleistar has posted this a more on theGatewayPundit.com blog:
"This is what happens when the vast majority in media aligns itself with one party against half of the country. Only an idiot or a liar would suggest that the media is biased against liberals. The media has always leaned left, but in the age of Obama they have staged an outright war on right leaning Americans.

The Tea Party was called racist by media liberals from day one while violent crime-ridden Occupy camps were called mostly peaceful. Opposition to Obamacare and anything else Obama and Democrats wanted to do was called racist.

The Democrats created the completely fake 'War on Women' and the media propagated the lie every step of the way.

Whenever a Republican says something the media deems controversial, every single Republican is forced to comment on their remarks. Democrats are never subjected to this treatment. If time permitted, a dozen other examples could be provided."

"If you can afford a jet ski and a motorhome, should taxpayers be paying for your food stamps?"

No!...
At HotAir.com, Kristina Ribali recently reported on this:
"The use of one particular loophole, Broad-Based Categorical Eligibility, has skyrocketed from just 7 states using it in 2001, rising to 13 by 2007. As of April of this year, 42 states were using this loophole to skirt asset tests. While some of these states retain some form of asset testing when they use BBCE, their asset limits are higher than federal law.

This policy enables people with lots of expensive toys like boats, vacation homes, and RV’s to get Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits, or food stamps. The problem is those benefits are intended for the disabled, elderly, the unemployed poor, and our other vulnerable neighbors."

"Golden Hammer: EPA's fondness for high-end furniture costs taxpayers $92 million"

Government has become too big and out of control...
Kellan Howell writes about this in the Washington Times:
"The Environmental Protection Agency over the past decade has spent a whopping $92.4 million to purchase, rent, install and store office furniture ranging from fancy hickory chairs and a hexagonal wooden table, worth thousands of dollars each, to a simple drawer to store pencils that cost $813.57.

The furniture shopping sprees equaled about $6,000 for every one of the agency’s 15,492 employees, according to federal spending data made public by the government watchdog OpenTheBooks.com."

Colleges' Fancy Pools Adding to Tuition - Breitbart

Try to wrap your brain around this...
At Breitbart.com, William Bigelow calls attention to this:
"Collegerank.com listed the 30 best college leisure pools in the country, including the University of Missouri’s $39 million recreational center equipped with an indoor beach, a lazy river, a waterfall, and a grotto similar to the one at the playboy mansion. Texas Tech University’s $8.4 million leisure pool boasts a 635-foot lazy river and waterslide. Pensacola Christian College offers a surfing 'FlowRider'; Auburn University built a 240,000 square ft. recreational with a 45-person hot tub; Nova Southeastern University has a 'resort-style' pool; and Kent State University has a waterfall, cool water vortex, wading pool, and zero depth entry."

Articles: Pulling Our Strings and Poking Us in the Eyes: The Ahmed Mohamed Fairy Tale

There are many scary statistics in this article...
At AmericanThinker.com, Clarice Feldman has a lot to say about this:
"Unfortunately, too many Americans are utterly ignorant of what it contains and how it impacts on their lives. Voter ignorance on this and so much else contributes to the ease with which the media manipulates public opinion into believing things which are not so."

"U.S. Postal Service Has Not Earned a Profit in Almost a Decade"

I wonder if private industry could make a go of this...
On the FreeBeacon website, Ali Meyer posted all about this:
"The United States Postal Service has lost $51.7 billion between 2007 and 2014 and has not earned a profit since 2006, according to a report from the Tax Foundation.

'There is no turnaround in sight,' states the report. 'The Postal Service will almost certainly register another multibillion dollar loss in 2015; for the first two quarters of 2015, it suffered a net loss of $2.8 billion.'

In addition, the report finds that USPS has failed to make legally required payments to the U.S. Treasury and will default on its statutory obligations, which include the Postal Service Retiree Health Benefit Fund."

"Video Black Middle Schooler Rips Obama For Agenda Politics"

This kid says the (politically incorrect) obvious truth...
At DailyCaller.com, Christian Datoc calls our attention to it and provides the video link:
"13-year-old C.J. Pearson posted a video to YouTube criticizing Barack Obama for inviting Ahmed Mohamed to the White House Wednesday.

Authorities arrested Mohamed, 14, after a home made clock he brought to school was mistaken for a bomb."

About that "clock"

If these three (3) linked stories/video are correct. we've surely been duped.
Let's see how this all plays out...

And...
In the New York Post, Kyle Smith posted "How Ahmed’s clock became a false, convenient tale of racism":
"Josh Welch, a white Maryland kid with ADHD who was 7 years old when he was kicked out of school for chewing a Pop-Tart into the shape of a pistol and pretending to shoot other students with it, must be puzzled."

"Alex Stone, a 16-year-old white kid from Summerville, SC, wrote a short story in which he imagined using a gun to kill a dinosaur. For this his locker was searched and he was arrested, handcuffed, charged with 'disorderly conduct' and suspended from school for three days."

And some people even KNOW about these things...
At ArtVoice.com, Anthony writes this and follows with much more:
"I found the highest resolution photograph of the clock I could. Instantly, I was disappointed. Somewhere in all of this – there has indeed been a hoax. Ahmed Mohamed didn’t invent his own alarm clock. He didn’t even build a clock. Now, before I go on and get accused of attacking a 14 year old kid who’s already been through enough, let me explain my purpose. I don’t want to just dissect the clock. I want to dissect our reaction as a society to the situation. Part of that is the knee-jerk responses we’re all so quick to make without facts. So, before you scroll down and leave me angry comments, please continue to the end (or not – prove my point, and miss the point, entirely!)"

There are Palestinians, Egyptians, Iraqis, people from all over the Arab world pretending to be Syrian so they can have a new life in Europe'. "BY DAY you wouldn’t think much of this place. After all, from the outside it appears to be no more than a derelict powerhouse surrounded by a lonesome supermarket and uninspiring communist architecture.

But come the weekend and it’s another story. It transforms into a mecca for ravers, the holy grail of electronic beats, the motherland of unconformity and a haven where outlandish sexual fantasies come true.

Welcome to Europe’s premier nightclub, the infamous Berghain of Berlin."

"Investigation finds sex, fraud and retaliation at Census office"

Here's another of those "government at work" stories...
Stephen Dinan reported on this at the Washington Times website:
"Employees in the Census Bureau’s hiring office bilked the government out of $1.1 million in pay they never earned, broke government rules by hiring friends and tried to intimidate whistleblowers who ratted them out, according to a new inspector general’s report Thursday that said supervisors even “led” the misconduct.

The worst of the employees overcharged for at least 1,277 hours, collecting nearly $65,000 for time that wasn’t actually worked. Another better-paid employee charged for 890 hours not worked, collecting more than $85,000, and still another collected $74,488 for 478 hours never worked — at an hourly wage of more than $155.

All told, 40 employees in the office — more than half of the workers during the time examined by the Commerce Department Office of Inspector General — were found to have claimed bogus hours worked."

"60 Minutes shows how hackers can access EVERY call and message you send"

The scenario is this article is astonishing.
The idea of being careful what we say on the phone is more valid than ever.
On the Daily Mail website, Cindy Tran and Mark Prigg combined on this story, demonstrating what actually can be done:
"After viewing the results, the senator seemed outraged to hear a recorded conversation he previously had with Mr Coulthart.

He was also stunned to hear his text message being read out. 'This is actually quite shocking because this affects every Australia,' Mr Xenophon said. 'It means anyone with a mobile phone can be hacked, can be bugged - it's just chilling. This is the end of anyone's privacy as we know it.

'This is not about spies or terrorists and pollies - this is about every Australian that is vulnerable because their phones can be hacked.'"

Judge upholds Arizona's 'show your papers' immigration law | Reuters

If this ruling sticks, other states could seemingly do the same...
Ian SImpson reported on this at Reuters.com:
"The ruling by U.S. District Judge Susan Bolton on Friday was on the last of seven challenges to the 2010 law. The section being upheld allows police in Arizona to check the immigration status of anyone they stop.

Bolton ruled that immigration rights activists failed to show that police would enforce the law differently for Hispanics than other people. The section is sometimes called the 'show your papers' provision.

The judge also upheld a section that let police check to see if a detainee is in the United States illegally."

Kim Davis vs. Judicial Tyranny — Patrick J. Buchanan

This sounds pretty logical to me...
On his website, Pat Buchanan expresses his opinion about Kim Davis' stand:
"Good for her. We need more like her.

For behind her defiance are more authoritative sources than the five justices who gave us Obergefell: the Old and New Testaments, Natural Law, two millennia of Christian teaching and tradition, and the entire body of U.S. federal and state law up to Y2K.

Moreover, Kentucky never enacted a law authorizing same-sex marriage. Nor did the Congress of the United States. Whence, then, did this 'law' come?"

"Survey: Crooks get guns from pals, don't keep them long"

No surprises here.
Even so, attempts to compromise the 2nd Amendment roll on...
This Chicago Sun-Times story, written by Frank Main, confirms what many of us already know:
"In a survey of almost 100 detainees in the Cook County Jail, few said they get firearms at gun shows or through the Internet, said Harold Pollack, co-director of the crime lab. They also said they don’t normally steal guns or buy them at a licensed store.

'Some of the pathways people are concerned about don’t seem so dominant,' Pollack said. Most of the inmates said they had a gun within six months of getting locked up. And most said they got the weapons through personal connections because they feared getting caught in a law-enforcement sting or being robbed by a stranger. "

Republicans and Women's Rights: A Brief Reality Check | The American Spectator

The Republicans "war on women" concept is just as false as the depiction that Democrats have always been supportive and good for of the Afro-American community...
David Catron posts on the American Spectator website. He begins:
"When the Obama reelection staff began developing its general strategy for duping a majority of the electorate into once again supporting the President, they knew they needed to drive a lot of disenchanted female voters back into the Democrat herd. Thus, they concocted the fictional Republican "war on women."

And, knowing that our government education system has long since given up teaching history, Obama's minions had little fear that the public would realize that the GOP's support of women's rights goes back to its founding in 1854.

Nor were the President's men worried that Democrat front groups like the National Organization for Women, much less the "news" media, would remind female voters that their very ability to cast a ballot was won for them by the Republicans over the vehement objections of the Democrats."

"Huckabee: Gavin Newsom Ignores The Law, Nothing Happens, But When Conservatives Do They Go To Jail"

The governor makes interestingly valid points here...
At DailyCaller.com, Steve Guest writes about points recently made by former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee:
"You’ve got Democrats who ignored the law when it was the law to have traditional marriage, Gavin Newsom in San Francisco as major, performed same-sex weddings even though it was illegal. Did he ever get put in jail? He most certainly did not. You had Barack Obama and Eric Holder when he was Attorney General, they ignored the rulings of DOMA, did they get put in law for ignoring the law? They most certainly did not. So when do liberals get to choose which laws they support but a county clerk in Kentucky who, acting on her Christian faith, is criminalized, jailed without bail because she acted on her conscience ..."

Hillary paid to maintain her private server out of her own pocket | PJ Tatler

To say the least, this guy's life has gotten pretty complicated.
Not to mention the continued contortions of the former Secretary of State...
At PJmedia.com, Rich Moran gives us some thoughts about this:
"It was revealed today by the Washington Post that Pagliano was paid to run Hillary’s private server — out of Hillary Clinton’s own pocket. She paid Pagliano an initial sum of $5,000 to set up the server. Pagliano dutifully reported the sum on his financial disclosure form in 2008.

But campaign officials now tell the WaPo that Clinton continued to pay Pagliano to maintain the server until Hillary left the State Department in 2013. The paper could find no record of Pagliano reporting any income from Clinton on his disclosure forms during the intervening years, and the State Department says they had 'found no evidence' of Pagliano earning outside income.

Filing a false financial disclosure form is a felony — reason enough for Pagliano to plead the 5th."

"GOP Leaders Ignore Voters' Worry On Immigration and Trade"

Call them "messaging instructions" or "talking points". Either way, elected officials are deliberately trying to control the discussion...
At Breitbart Big Government, Julia Hahn writes about these:
"Republican legislators have gotten their messaging instructions from their top leaders: Tout unpopular free-trade measures during the August recess, ignore popular curbs on the migration that saps Americans’ wages.

Breitbart News has exclusively obtained an internal August recess messaging instruction set for Republican legislators produced by Sen. John Thune (R-SD), who orchestrates the GOP Senators’ PR pitch. This 20-page messaging instruction manual seems to confirm prior reports by Breitbart News that Republican Congressional leadership has no plans to enact popular immigration reforms to curb large-scale migration."

"Traitor to His Class" - Julius Krein

The title is a bit misleading.
The article seeks to explain why Mr. Trump has become popular and holding on to it...
On the Weekly Standard website, Julius Krein writes this and more about Donald Trump:
"Most candidates seek to define themselves by their policies and platforms. What differentiates Trump is not what he says, or how he says it, but why he says it. The unifying thread running through his seemingly incoherent policies, what defines him as a candidate and forms the essence of his appeal, is that he seeks to speak for America. He speaks, that is, not for America as an abstraction but for real, living Americans and for their interests as distinct from those of people in other places. He does not apologize for having interests as an American, and he does not apologize for demanding that the American government vigorously prosecute those interests.

What Trump offers is permission to conceive of an American interest as a national interest separate from the 'international community' and permission to wish to see that interest triumph. What makes him popular on immigration is not how extreme his policies are, but the emphasis he puts on the interests of Americans rather than everyone else. His slogan is 'Make America Great Again'and he is not ashamed of the fact that this means making it better than other places, perhaps even at their expense.

is least practical suggestion—making Mexico pay for the border wall—is precisely the most significant: It shows that a President Trump would be willing to take something from someone else in order to give it to the American people. Whether he could achieve this is of secondary importance; the fact that he is willing to say it is everything. Nothing is more terrifying to the business and donor class—as well as the media and the entire elite—than Trump’s embrace of a tangible American nationalism. The fact that Trump should by all rights be a member of this class and is in fact a traitor to it makes him all the more attractive to his supporters and all the more baffling to pundits."

‘Hillary for Prison’ signs keep getting stolen in the Hamptons | New York Post

I've never been a fan of political signs; however, I concede that some are more relevant than others...
Kathianne Boniello and Doug Kuntz combined on this New York Post story:
"Andy Sabin’s first 'Hillary for Prison 2016' signs lasted little more than a day before they were stolen from in front of his Amagansett home last week. So Sabin took steps to make sure the placards were secure.

The red, blue and white signs now sit atop a pair of 12-foot poles behind an electric fence with yellow warning signs. A surveillance camera keeps watch."

"Protesters have no free-speech rights on Supreme Court’s front porch"

At face value, I have big trouble with this.
It certainly gives the appearance that laws and Constitutional Rights are NOT equal for everyone.
Frankly, I just don't like it...
The Washington Post's Robert Barnes has this story:
"The fight over where protesters get to protest has been going on for years. The appeals court judges upheld a 1949 law that forbids demonstrations on the grounds of the high court, on the premise that protests at the court’s doorstep might lead to the perception that the justices are swayed by vox populi rather than the dictates of the law."
