In the Orlando Sentinel, Mike Bianchi tells us why he likes NASCAR's way of dealing with things. He posts this and more:
"Even though Busch has not been charged with any crime in this alleged incident, NASCAR reacted and reacted quickly after Judge David W. Jones of the Family Court of the State of Delaware granted Busch's ex-girlfriend Patricia Driscoll a protective order against her former boyfriend. NASCAR didn't need an elevator video and a public outcry to make the right decision to get rid of Busch — whose appeal on Saturday failed — for the unstated but obvious reason that he is bad for business.
And please spare us the rhetoric about 'innocent until proven guilty.' That's for a court of law; not for a place of business. Driving a stock car for a living is not a right guaranteed by the American Constitution; it is a privilege bestowed upon you by your corporate sponsors."
