"Has the word ‘lie’ become extinct?"
Morgan Brittany says a lot of what I've been thinking in her posting at WND.com:
"Yes, I know and we all know that politicians lie. It’s what they do to get elected, and most of us can read between the lines and shovel out the B.S. But what happened to ethics, morals and accountability once they got caught in that lie? The decent thing would be to admit it, resign and rehabilitate your reputation. That doesn’t happen anymore. Today it is just a matter of course. They lie to get what they want because there is no punishment, no consequences. It is practically a given that everyone lies, and it is no big deal."
