"Assembly Complete for NASA’s First Orion Crew Module..."
Considering our current poorly planned dependencies on the Russians, this sounds like a step in a better direction...
Ken Kremer recently reported on this at UniverseToday.com:
"Orion is NASA’s next generation human rated vehicle and is scheduled to launch on its maiden uncrewed mission dubbed Exploration Flight Test-1 (EFT-1) in December 2014. It replaces the now retired space shuttle orbiters."
