"Oklahoma Joins Growing Rebellion Of States Against Common Core"

"Seventeen states have pushed back against Common Core — including Alaska, Nebraska, Texas and Virginia, which declined to sign on from the beginning. In Missouri, a bill to exit Common Core sits on the governor's desk for approval.
As former Rep. Allen West points out, 'With Common Core and the takeover of college loans, the federal government essentially controls your education from kindergarten on.' He reminds us that one of the 10 planks laid out by Karl Marx in "The Communist Manifesto" is the complete state control of education."
