Safety campaigners blast Britain's first motorway pub | Mail Online
This is serving alcohol at a turnpike rest stop. I wonder what could go wrong?...
Mark Duell has the story in the U.K. Daily Mail:
"Britain's first motorway pub is set to open its doors to drivers tomorrow, serving alcohol from 9am.
The launch by JD Wetherspoon at Beaconsfield services on the M40 in Buckinghamshire has prompted safety campaigners to issue a warning to motorists over the temptation of drink-driving.
The £1.2million Hope And Champion pub - which will create 120 jobs - will be open from 4am to 1am, seven days a week, in the Extra Motorway Service Area at junction 2 of the motorway."
