Illegal immigrants trying to cross the Rio Grande are arrested by US Border Patrol as it fights massive upsurge in numbers | Mail Online
In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if you thought illegal entries have decreased...
In the U.K. Daily Mail, Zac Fine reports what the American media seems to be missing:
"Rio Grande Valley arrests rose 65 per cent last year and they hit 16,000 in March alone, fuelled by human smugglers who pay tax to drug cartels. Attempts to cross the border alone are met with violence. About 70 bodies were found in the area in the six months from October, more than twice as many as the same period in the previous year."
