"A burglar who was caught on camera breaking into a house after being spotted by an eagle-eyed youngster has been jailed for five years.
Prolific thief Darren Butt was spied on his crime spree in broad daylight by the young neighbour - whose father, Christopher Horn, immediately grabbed his camera and started taking snaps.
When the pair passed the photos to police, officers immediately recognised Butt and promptly arrested him.
Prosecutor John Penny told Bristol Crown Court this week that Butt struck at the home in the city after being released on bail for another burglary, and helped himself to £15, a laptop and DVDs."
