Politics - in Detroit
Wow! If you're going to ask, I guess you should ask BIG...
Robert Snell recently reported about it in the Detroit News:
"'Woo-hoo,' Clark says after counting the $2,000 on Feb. 20, 2008. 'You helped me out, man.'
The money was a reward for Clark's work getting the Synagro contract on the City Council agenda and for helping rally community support, according to the FBI.
The 40-year-old Farmington Hills resident also wanted $10,000 a month and a percentage of the Synagro contract that would have paid the civil servant $40 million a year, according to testimony this week from FBI Special Agent Michael Lubisco, a case agent with the bureau's public corruption unit."
