Politicians - "Our Dysfunctional Congress"
I think this writer is absolutely correct.
Our elected officials have lost sight of their true purpose.
Their primary focus (just watch C-Span) is to play to the public, take credit for everything good, avoid being accountable for anything bad, and, of course, to get reelected...

"Unable to deliberate, and unwilling to take responsibility for making policy decisions, congressmen are reduced to engaging in fruitless partisan warfare and public grandstanding.
